My SP Kicks Ass

Got the package from my One Skein SP, and it's incredible! It's Karaoke, by South West Trading Company, a soy silk/wool blend, that apparently felts fantastically. I am LOVING this yarn, and it's a yarn I've not heard of before, so I cannot WAIT to figure out what to make with it!! She also included a great yarn bag, a Debbie Macomber book I've been dying to read (almost done with it now), loads of yummy candy, a fantastic little notepad and it was all wrapped so beautifully!

Check out the gorgeous yarn, and my box of goodies!!!

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!

I think I want to felt it, but it's SO soft unfelted, and the colorway is beautiful. Have to hide it from sister and Aunt. They're going to want something made from it!!

It IS a gorgeous yarn. Hmmm, might make a pair of fingerless gloves with it- like the fetching gloves I'm making for my SP. That'd be gorgeous, I think!

I am so happy that you love the Karaoke! I have loved it ever since I first saw it!

Before I moved to my current location, I lived in Nashville.

My big hangout was the LYS in town. The gal who owns the shop really thinks out of the box and is always doing something fun.

When the yarn finally came in and she started selling it, she threw a Karaoke party and made everybody that was buying a ball sing! I had already moved, but have heard the stories! Too fun!

I am very happy that you liked your goodies! There are more where that came from... ;)

That's awesome!! I LOVE this yarn!!!
I read the book and loved it, and already bought and read the sequel, which was also good.
Thank you so much, you're the BEST!!!

Thanks for saying that you had already read the sequel because I was planning on putting it into your next goody box!

What did you think of it? She is writing a third one, which excites me!

I LOVED it! And the sequel! Can't wait for the third one! You ROCK!
I'm thinking I'm going to make something for my sister in law with this yarn. She and I have gotten really close since Adam died, and I've never knit her anything she'd use before. She's a tricky one, she lives in the UK and doesn't wear hats or scarves...

I'm thinking either fuzzy feet from Knitty or a small bag with a zipper in it for travel.

Reason is that she LOVES these colors. I also love these colors, but I'd like to make her something special, and this is some special yarn.
