Sad= Knitting

I'm feeling a little sad and anxious, for some reasons I can control and others I cannot. I don't really need any yarn, my usual remedy, so... I bought some books today.

By "some" I mean four. But I DO have a lot of babies to knit for...

... and knitting is the best therapy one can hope for. AND, my dad always said a good book is NEVER a waste of money. So. Well done, me!

Yes, you're right, well done! Those books look great. Knitting is great therapy, isn't it?

Your dad is right! Love books and the way they make me feel - happy.

Hope the sadness eases a bit for you soon.

You bought some wonderful books there! I do the same thing when I'm sad: yarn shopping or book shopping. Both make me feel better too.

Knitting is the best therapy! Mom was a little worried, when Ad first died, I'd jump up and run out and a couple of hours later show up with, seriously, HUNDREDS of dollars worth of yarn. But dad said "yarn is better than wine!"- so true!!

Here's to feeling sad.

I think of a knitting pattern book as an investment! You could potentially knit from it for the rest of your life, if you like the patterns that much and/or have the need. oh yeah, and that knitted koala and baby are SO CUTE. =D
