Congratulations....

Tiennie!

Tiennie has won a $35 gift certificate of her choice in honor of Adam's 35th birthday.

Want to know how I randomly selected someone? Here is what I did- I get an e-mail every time anyone leaves a comment on the blog. I took all of those e mails and moved them into a separate folder. I included comments in posts from "Swoony" onward. I then put my fingers on the page up and down buttons and moved the cursor up and down all the posts while singing "Happy Birthday." (I should note I sang it very loudly and off-key, as I am known to do. I used to sing opera, so I always sing happy birthday loud and off key;).)

When I got to the end of the song, I lifted up both fingers and the person whose name I had stopped on was Tiennie's. More specifically it was her comment from the Give Away post, although she and several other people had more than one comment entry. So, that's it!

Tiennie, please let me know where you'd like your gift certificate from! Amazon? Little Knits? WEBS? Totally your choice, and congratulations.

In the meantime, I will be having another contest very soon, for a LOT of silk garden scraps, including at least one full skein, for a Lady E, or the project of your choice!

Today has not gone well. But I didn't really expect it to. I think I'm going to have a nice hot shower, throw on some sweats and head to Panera for some soup. I need soup.

Happy Birthday, Adam

Enjoy your soup - there's nothing like it for comfort. Adam was a handsome guy!

Thank you so much for the gift certificate!

I hope you had the bread bowl, too - that is one of my favourite things about Panera. ((hugs)) I hope it was the best day it could be with everything going on.
