Knitting and Crying...

a lot lately. Of course seems I'm always knitting, or crying... or knitting whilst crying, and let's face it, everything is more manageable when knitting. It occurred to me the other day, while driving to the dr., that I sincerely wished I had a spare pair of arms so I could knit while I drove. Do I have a problem? Maybe. It's possible!

Here's a couple of i mixes- both are pretty mellow, one is quite sad. Good knitting music, though.

If the links don't work, you can search by the names of the mixes, "Missing Adam" and "Knitting and Crying"

Oh, and the photo is us in front of the Boston Aquarium, where we had our first date.

Knitting Lace Curtains...

This is a photo of my new bathroom, in progress... and my new window. I'll be knitting some lace curtains for this, with some help from my knitty friends...

This is the mosiac tile for a strip with white ceramic inside the tub... Same on the floor. It's a bit dirty here, but you get the idea...

When I'm not knitting, I'm reading

I'm something of a compulsive reader. If I'm on vacation or (gasp!) don't have any knitting to do, then I'm reading.

Recently Read:

Labyrinth by Kate Mosse-
It was a pretty good read. The reviews compared it to the DaVinci Code, and I don't know that I'd really agree with that. It was a decent read though, and I love a big, thick book. Outlander fans will most likely enjoy it.

City of Falling Angels by John Berendt-
This is the guy who wrote Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, a truly excellent book. It was good. Not as good as Midnight. Not even close. This one I could put down for a couple of days and come back to. But still worthy, though I'd wait for it to come out in paperback!
