What's in a Name?

I need help. Your help! I'm going to be (with the help of a friend) setting up a proper website for the mosaics. But I don't know what to call it. So, please, post or e-mail me your suggestions! If I choose the one you suggested, I'll send you a mosaic. Sound good?

Here are a couple recently finished mirrors. They need grouting.

"Primarily Primary"

"Green Radiance"

Oh, and the shawl I knit for charity? It sold, for $250, so I was happy to help them with that!!

So, please. Send me your suggestions for a Mosaic site/company name, something other than Knittibell Mosaics or 'My name Mosaics'- and if your suggestion is chosen, I'll send you a piece!

What a generous gift to charity! And a nice gift to yourself, to know that someone appreciates the value of a handmade object.

Woohoo! Congratulations on that great donation of the shawl.

And on the shop. Names . . . that's tough. I always think of Ravenna when I think of mosaics.

I'd call it "Luisant Mosaics," luisant being the French word for "gleaming" which is the first word that comes to my mind when I see your work :)

It's great that the charity has got a good price for the shawl you gave them!
As for a shop name... good question. I've got a few ideas, but I want to have a look into some others as well. I'll email you with my ideas tomorrow or during the weekend.

That's hard - but I am sure whatever you decide to name it you will be a success.

Beautiful mirrors! I love how you've mixed the colours.

I used to do stained glass and mosiacs, had to put it away a few years ago but looking forward to the time I can play again.

Your mirrors look great!!

Could you use some sort of play on the word pieces or fragments?
Rescued fragments? Polished Pieces? Rebuilding the pieces?

I hope I'm not too late with a name for the Mosiac Website...

I thought of Madam incorporated Adam's name into it...I know how much you miss him and thought it would work well.

I read your blog all the time and my heart aches for you...but stay strong!

PS. I also have a son named Adam....
